BBC Launches New A Application For iPhone and iPod

After successfully serving television broadcast service on mobile phones, now BBC is releasing an application which can present radio and television channel list on touch screen IPhone and iPod Apple. This application is called Radio Times.

This newly software owned by BBC Worldwide spoil its users to do browsing and searching information on broadcast schedule as many as 400 channel either television and radio station. This application can be downloaded from Apple's iTunes Application Store at a price of 1.79 Pounds.

"We are very proud to launch the Radio Times. This application spesific to iPhone and iPod can expand the coverage in the area of mobile and hopefully can give the impressive experience to its users," said Kathy Day Director of the Radio Times Publisher, as launched by Telegraph, Wednesday.


In addition to offering access to watching TV and listening to the radio, this application also provides a complete description of the events, one-touch access to Wikipedia, and trivia the popular television show. 

There is also a video clip from YouTube clips and the official trailer and the link to the broadcast TV service iPlayer owned by the BBC. 

"We know that customers do not just want to watch TV and listen to the radio during their journey, but through this application they want to know what things are available for them that can be accessed at any time, " she said.
